Here at Furnished Quarters, many of our employees took time out to celebrate the holiday in style! Lions and tigers and bears, OH MY! We had it all. From Michael Jackson to Wizard of Oz characters, Furnished Quarters sure does know how to get into the spirit! How creative were you for Halloween? Bet you can�t top the Furnished Quarters team!

As the exclusive provider of temporary furnished apartments at Grove Pointe, the most sought-after new building in Jersey City, we invited clients and prospects to attend a sneak preview of the highly desirable apartments at an after work event including cocktails and hors d�oeuvres. Marco & Pepe, a trendy local Spanish restaurant, named after the owner�s dogs, provided delectable food, while the Reginald Quinerly Quartet jazzed up the atmosphere. Tia�s Place, a hip local boutique provided gifts for all that attended. Chic apartments, good food and live music�what a hit!

Sixty-five Furnished Quarters employees participated in the record-breaking AIDS Walk New York event this past Sunday in Central Park. It was wonderful to see such incredible support from all corporations and individuals involved. We thank everyone who joined in.

Not only did this year�s walk break the record for number of walkers, with over 50,000, but also raised a record number of donations, which has reached an incredible $6,857,527. Way to go New York.

Furnished Quarters, which housed and sponsored many of the event organizers in our apartments hope they enjoyed their rooms.

Thanks again for all involved in fighting the war against AIDS. We hope to see you all next year for another record breaking walk.

Johnnie Moore is a marketing consultant and has seen his fair share of traveling, having worked for clients such as The Stock Exchange, JP Morgan, Schroders and Gartmore. On recent trip to New York City, Mr. Moore was troubled by the prices hotels were allowed to charge their customers. Exorbitant is the word he used to describe them.

This led Mr. Moore to seek an alternative means, which led him to Furnished Quarters. He was instantly pleased with the result. �I booked the apartment and got a lot more space than I would in a hotel. And daylight, lots of it,??? said Mr. Moore. �That makes a huge difference to me. I also feel relieved by not having maid service; I notice that I like feeling this is my space and no-one else is coming into it.???

As exposure of the corporate housing market continues to grow, it is our feeling that more people will begin to see that hotels are not always the best option. In the case of Mr. Moore, he felt that his Furnished Quarters apartment offered something hotels cannot offer. �I trotted out on Friday morning with my tote bag in my left hand, I felt like a New York commuter, which had great novelty value and perhaps conveys something of how at-home I found myself with this arrangement,??? informed Mr. Moore.
